En Plein Aire 

 Born and raised in Massachusetts Linda's primary interest is painting "en plein air", in the traditional American Impressionistic style.

Drawing her inspirations from the meadows and marshlands from Cape Ann to Maine, she gives strong emphasis to values and color harmonies in her paintings.  This artist is the master of her art and portrays the energy and joy with painting from life.

Linda has studied with several promenent Cape Ann artists, Paul George and David Curtis of Gloucester, Massachusetts.  Wishing to share her knowledge and painting experience, Linda has been teaching weekly art classes since 1990 and continues to inspire students of all levels.

From New York City's prestigous Salmagundi Club, she has won the Lee. M. Loeb Memorial Award, the Forbes Magazine Award and the William Alfred White Memorial Award.  She has received the Presidential Citation and Jean Cloisey Memorial Award from the Greater Haverhill Arts Association.  Linda also holds a membership to the Newburyport Art Association.
